ELY AQUAFEST
Aquafest is Ely’s premier community event and is always held on the first Sunday in July on Lavender Green, Jubilee Gardens, and the riverside. Organised and run by the two Rotary Clubs in Ely, there’s funfairs, food, craft, and charity stalls, see raft races and Hannam’s Wake Hub on the river, and entertainment as diverse as the Rockin’ Ukuleles and Viking re-enactors on Lavender Green, and singers Jacen Bruce, Anne Hester and Chris Fox, Michael Antony, and Special Groove on Jubilee Gardens.

The CHRISTMAS STREET COLLECTION takes place over eleven nights in the weeks preceding Christmas, and collects door to door from homes within the Ely boundaries. This event is organised by the Ely Rotary Club, and members from our Club participate both with the collection and the administration of the event. SANTA’S CHRISTMAS SLEIGH appears at supermarkets  in the run-up to Christmas, organised and manned by Santa and his Ely Hereward helpers.
